Eintracht Frankfurt announce departure of Premier League loan stars

Six players including Premier League loanees Michael Hector, Guillermo Varela and Shani Tarashaj will leave DFB Pokal finalists Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer, the club have announced.

Frankfurt finished the season in mid-table and were beaten by Borussia Dortmund in the cup final, with their squad including a number of loan players.

On Monday, the club announced that Chelsea's Hector, Everton's Tarashaj and Manchester United's Varela, along with Fiorentina's Ante Rebic, would be leaving.

They also confirmed the departure of attacker Haris Seferovic, who will join Benfica on a free transfer, and keeper Heinz Lindner, who will not get a new deal.

Real Madrid defender Jesus Vallejo was not included in the statement on Frankfurt's official website, but it has been reported that the 20-year-old will get a chance at the Bernabeu next season.
