Toronto FC have announced the signing of FC Vaduz wing-back Nicolas Hasler, making him the first player from Liechtenstein to join Major League Soccer.

Hasler, 26, will be added to the roster pending the receipt of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) and his Canadian work permit.

"Nicolas is an experienced and valued member of his national team playing in Euro and World Cup qualifiers. In addition to his club and international experience, Nicolas is a versatile player with valuable experience at right back," Toronto FC General Manager Tim Bezbatchenko said.

"We are pleased to bring Nicolas to Toronto FC. He will be a welcomed addition to our group and provide greater depth for our club."

The former Eschen-Mauren man has already made 45 appearances for his country, scoring two goals.
