Manchester United, Spurs, Arsenal monitoring Nadiem Amiri - sources

Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham are tracking Hoffenheim midfielder Nadiem Amiri, sources close to the player have told ESPN FC.

Amiri is regarded as one of the brightest prospects in the Bundesliga after impressing over the last 18 months.

The attacking midfielder helped Hoffenheim finish fourth last season and qualify for Champions League football.

Amiri has represented Germany from under-18s through to U21s and is tipped to break into the senior team.

The 21-year-old has scored four goals in 18 appearances for Hoffenheim this season and United, Arsenal and Tottenham are continuing to monitor his progress.

Amiri, who can also operate on the wing, has been compared to Spurs midfielder Dele Alli for his style of play and sources said United, Arsenal and Tottenham are interested in bringing him to the Premier League.

Hoffenheim are determined to keep hold of Amiri, who is under contract until 2020, but are bracing themselves for interest when the window reopens.
