Mexico international Marco Fabian appears set to leave Eintracht Frankfurt after head coach Adi Hutter signaled the 29-year-old's time at the club could be coming to an end. Fabian has one year left on his contract and it seems the Bundesliga club prefers to sell the forward now, rather than letting him go for a free next summer. "Everyone can see that we have a big squad and basically I will be reducing it," Hunter said, later adding: "I've been told that [Fabian] could still move." German outlet Hessenschau reported that Fabian, Simon Falette and Marijan Cavar would be training with the "group two" squad while their situations are sorted out. Fabian's future at the club had appeared to be settled, after he started and played 64 minutes in Eintracht Frankfurt's 5-0 German Super Cup loss to Bayern Munich last weekend. The player said after the match that he was happy in Frankfurt and focused on the upcoming season, although he did mention that this week was key for his future. "The transfer market hasn't closed and I'm sorting [the situation] out with the club," Fabian said in quotes carried by Medio Tiempo. "I'm 100 percent here in Eintracht, I see my future in the day-to-day here, I'm very happy, we have a very good connection with the coach and this week it'll be decided." "There are offers from many places, but the important thing is to make the right decision." Fabian has been linked with Turkish club Besiktas but didn't completely rule out a return to Mexico, or a future move to MLS, although the transfer window is currently closed in the U.S. "[MLS] is growing a lot, I'm not going to rule anything out, you have to be open to all leagues in the world," he said. "Above all when you are coming to the end of your career, you have to think about everything."
