Suwon Bluewings sign Antonis from Melbourne Victory

Terry Antonis is leaving A-League club Melbourne Victory for South Korea.

Antonis has signed with K-League team Suwon Bluewings, after spending the past 18 months with Victory.

The 25-year-old, who has three Socceroos caps, had previous overseas stints in Greece and the Netherlands after starting his career at Sydney FC.

"Terry accomplished a lot in his time with us," Victory football operations manager Paul Trimboli said in a statement on Wednesday.

"This is an opportunity that Terry wanted to pursue ... and we wish him well in his future endeavours."

Antonis will be best remembered by Victory fans for scoring the winning goal in 117th minute in a dramatic 2017-18 semifinal against Sydney FC, and featuring in the club's fourth A-League championship a week later.

He played 53 games across all competitions for the Victory, scoring five goals.

Losing Antonis has been cushioned by Victory's signing of Socceroos attacker Robbie Kruse, who is returning to the club after playing in Germany for the past eight years.

Kruse is expected to arrive in Melbourne later this week, after the club announced his signing on Tuesday.
