The winter transfer window is closed, but now it's time to look ahead to the summer! Here are the new rumours floating around Europe's big leagues and beyond.
TOP STORY: Haaland heading for Real deal in 2021
Erling Haaland is back in the headlines in Spain as Diario AS links him with a move to Real Madrid -- but not until 2021.
The 19-year-old Borussia Dortmund sensation is one of Europe's hottest properties after scoring 12 goals in 11 games since joining the Bundesliga club for €20 million.
Haaland's agent Mino Raiola has said he is unlikely to leave Dortmund this summer -- but AS reports that a clause in his contract would allow the forward to leave for €75m in the following transfer window, in January 2021.
Real Madrid opted for Luka Jovic to provide competition for Karim Benzema last summer, but the Serbian striker has failed to impress, scoring just twice this season.
Usually, it would be doubtful whether Madrid would be willing to wait until January next year to further reinforce their attack, but the current coronavirus-enforced suspension of La Liga makes that scenario more plausible.

22.10 GMT: Manchester United are not the only club tracking Edinson Cavani, reports Spanish paper AS.
The report lists United, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid and Argentine giants Boca Juniors as clubs that are expected to pursue El Matador when the transfer window reopens. There are reports out there that United could elect to sign Odion Ighalo permanently, but Cavani, whose contract expires at the end of the season, reportedly remains an option.

21.39 GMT: Arsenal will be looking to strengthen the middle of the park with Granit Xhaka and Lucas Torreira likely to depart and Dani Ceballos' loan set to come to an end.
Greek outlet SDNA understands that Arsenal and Sheffield are tracking Olympiakos midfielder Mady Camara. The 23-year-old impressed against Arsenal in their recent Europa League tie, which reportedly caught the eye of Sheffield manager Chris Wilder. The Blades are now reportedly considering making a club-record £23 million move for Camara this summer, but don't rule out Arsenal, who could have the currency -- both in name and finances -- to sway the Guinea international to the Emirates.
21.03 GMT: 2014 World Cup hero Mario Gotze has spent the entirety of his career in his native Germany but that could change this summer.
The 27-year-old is being linked by Corriere dello Sport with a summer move to AC Milan. The midfielder's contract with Borussia Dortmund is up at the end of the season and the report from Italy suggests Milan would be keen to snap up the player on a free transfer.
Gotze, who scored the winning goal at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, has struggled with injuries, form and metabolic disorder since returning to Dortmund in 2016. Whether it is Milan or elsewhere, Gotze figures to be on the move, as the German international is currently behind the likes of Jadon Sancho, Thorgan Hazard, Julian Brandt and others at Dortmund.
20.19 GMT: Chris Smalling to leave Man United on a permanent basis?
The English defender, 28, has had a bounce-back season in Italy with Roma, who reportedly want to sign him outright this summer. Man United, though, have said they will not let Smalling go for good until they sign a replacement and the latest reports suggest that Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly is their top target.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Smalling's future is tied to what happens with the £90 million-rated Senegalese centre-back. United currently have Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, Eric Bailly, Phil Jones and Axel Tuanzebe as centre-back options, with both Smalling and Marcos Rojo currently out on loan. Will Smalling stay or go? One thing is for sure, it figures to be one busy summer at Old Trafford.
19.37 GMT: Leicester to move for another Belgium international?
After signing Youri Tielemans and Dennis Praet within the last year, Belgian outlet Sport/Foot, via Leicestershire Live, claims the club are now interested in signing Belgium and Atalanta right-back Timothy Castagne. The 24-year-old has been a key cog for upstarts Atalanta in both Serie A and the Champions League, and is valued at around €20 million, according to transfermarkt.
Leicester currently boast one of the best right-backs in world football in Ricardo Pereira, but if bids come in for the Portuguese, Castagne is rumoured as a potential replacement.

18.58 GMT: Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen has said he is unsure whether he will continue to play for the club next season.
Vertonghen, 32, has struggled for consistency under both Mauricio Pochettino and Jose Mourinho this campaign and claims he needs to make a big decision over his future.
"I'm in a process right now that I have to grab a piece of paper and write down the pros and cons of the options I will have soon," he told De Kleedkamer.
"I will really have to decide what I want in my career. In three to four years, I will normally return to the place where I will likely settle down.
"I have to start thinking about where I still want to live, what language I want to learn, what culture I still want to live in. And also very importantly: which competitions and prizes I still want to win. I don't want to regret anything in my career."
18.17 GMT: Borussia Monchengladbach rejected Barcelona's transfer request for forward Alassane Plea in January, Sport Bild reports.
Looking to replace injured attackers Ousmane Dembele and Luis Suarez, the Catalan giants turned to the Bundesliga club and offered a fee in the €50 million region for the 27-year-old.
But mounting an unlikely title challenge, Gladbach were not interested in selling their target man and, ultimately, Barcelona on Feb. 20 signed Leganes' Martin Braithwaite.
17.41 GMT: Ajax are making moves to sign Spain youth international Pedri on loan from Barcelona this summer, according to Catalan newspaper Diario SPORT.
Pedri, 17, will join Barca in July after the club struck an initial €5m deal with Las Palmas earlier this season. The total cost of the transfer could break €20m if the attacking midfielder ends up playing a certain amount of games for Barca and Spain.
He will do preseason with Quique Setien's side before a decision is made on his future. The most likely scenario is he goes out on loan -- he will not be able to play for the B team unless they are promoted to the second division, per a clause in his contract.
If he does, Ajax are reported to be leading the chase and would count on Barca's backing given the similarities in the teams' playing styles. There is also interest from across Spain.
16.37 GMT: The coronavirus pandemic has dented Everton's chances of signing Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes, according to the Independent.
The Merseyside club reportedly offered the 22-year-old a contract ahead of a potential €30m transfer before the outbreak suspended sporting events across the world.
The delay means that the player can now consider his options with Paris Saint-Germain and Leicester both interested
15.53 GMT: Leeds United fans... Turn your heads away now!
Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani has said the club missed out on the chance to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani last summer.
The Elland Road club were edging closer to a long-awaited Premier League return before the coronavirus pandemic suspended English football.
"The (PSG) president had given me the availability to verify the interest with the player's brother," Radrizzani told Sky Sport Italia. "However, the negotiation never flew.
"I spoke more concretely with Zlatan. He could give us a decisive push but he decided to go to Milan. He was very honest and transparent with me."
15.11 GMT: Wolves forward Raul Jimenez has enjoyed two successful seasons in the Premier League. The Mexico international has been linked with Europe's elite clubs but ESPN's Alejandro Moreno has warned the striker to resist a move away if he wants to continue playing regularly.
13.47 GMT: Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira has told ESPN that it would be the "perfect dream" to play for Argentinian club Boca Juniors.
Torreira, 24, has previously expressed his desire to feature for Boca one day and was linked with a move away from the Emirates last summer.
The Uruguay international has been ruled out for the remainder of the season with an ankle injury.
12.58 GMT: RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano has told the club he wants to leave this summer, Sport Bild reports.
Under contract until 2021, the 21-year-old is available for any club willing to trigger a €60m release clause and convince one of Bundesliga's best centre-backs to join.
Tottenham, Arsenal, Barcelona and Bayern all fancy their chances of signing Upamecano and the France U21 international could now force Leipzig to sell him at a bargain price before losing him on a free transfer the following summer.
12.31 GMT: Paris Saint-Germain are less convinced about making their loan deal for backup goalkeeper Sergio Rico permanent than they were earlier this season, according to Estadio Deportivo.
There is an option in the 26-year-old's contract that would enable PSG to sign him for €10m, but a number of errors -- notably during the nervy 4-3 Ligue 1 win over Bordeaux -- has convinced sporting director Leonardo to consider alternative options.
AC Milan's Gianluigi Donnarumma has been touted as a potential summer target and the Brazilian transfer guru is known to rate the Italy international highly after their time together with AC Milan.
Leonardo could allow Spain international Rico to return to Sevilla before selling Alphonse Areola to Real Madrid permanently and bringing in the 21-year-old Donnarumma.
11:57 GMT: Before the coronavirus crisis, Germany international Kai Havertz appeared set to leave Bayer Leverkusen this summer, with the only question remaining which club - Bayern Munich, Barcelona or another European top club - would win the bid for the 20-year-old midfielder.
But with Leverkusen insisting on a transfer fee north of €100m and Havertz under contract until 2022, the scenario could now change with all clubs losing money with every day football is suspended.
Bayer executive Fernando Carro told Sport Bild: "He's a Leverkusen player and we are in constant exchange. Those are the facts."
11.28 GMT: Diario SPORT reports that Barcelona will listen to offers for up to eight players this summer as they look to balance the books, minimise the impact of the coronavirus pandemic and raise funds to invest elsewhere, with Neymar and Lautaro Martinez among their top targets.
Among the players said to be in the firing line are first-team regulars Antoine Griezmann, a €120m signing last summer, and Samuel Umtiti. Midfielders Ivan Rakitic and Arturo Vidal will also be allowed to leave if the right offers arrive.
Elsewhere, bids will also be encouraged for Philippe Coutinho and Carles Alena -- currently on loan at Bayern Munich and Real Betis respectively -- substitute goalkeeper Neto and Martin Braithwaite, who only joined the club from Leganes in February for €18m.
10.59 GMT: Manchester United are optimistic Paul Pogba will remain at the club beyond the next transfer window and doubt whether any of Europe's elite clubs can afford the midfielder, sources have told ESPN.
Pogba's agent, Mino Raiola, has said he "wants to take a great player to Real Madrid" sparking more speculation the Spanish giants are set to bid for the France international.
Juventus are also interested in re-signing Pogba but there are significant doubts over whether either club could finance a deal, even if the 27-year-old insists he wants to leave Old Trafford.
Pogba has a contract until June 2021 but United can also trigger a clause to extend it for another 12 months until 2022.
Real Madrid were put off by the £180m asking price last summer and while privately United accept Pogba's value will dip with time running out on his contract, they still value their record signing at more than £100m.
As well as the transfer fee, Real Madrid and Juventus would have to put together a hefty wage packet of around £300,000-a-week to seal a deal.
10.24 GMT: Earlier this month, Bayern Munich David Alaba hired transfer guru Pini Zahavi as his new agent. Under contract until 2021, the defender feels not valued enough by his current club, Sport Bild says.
Having played at left-back for most parts of his club career, and in central defence this season, Alaba wants to move up the field into a holding midfield position. But while Bayern take every effort to enable Germany international Joshua Kimmich to move there and leave the right-back position, Alaba only gets the chance to shine on that position for his country.
Zahavi has now been hired to test the 27-year-old's value on the transfer market, with Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester City all reportedly interested in the Austria international.
09.48 GMT: Raheem Sterling has admitted that former club Liverpool are "always in my heart" as speculation continues over the future of the England forward and other Manchester City stars.
City are appealing against a two-year ban from European competition, due to come into effect next season, for breaching UEFA's Financial Fair Play regulations, leading to questions over the futures of several top players at the Etihad stadium.
In a live Q&A on the Instagram account of his representatives, Sterling said: "Would I ever go back to Liverpool? To be honest with you, I love Liverpool.
"Don't get it twisted, they are always in my heart, do you know what I mean?
"It's a team that [has] done a lot for me growing up."
09.15 GMT: Jadon Sancho could remain at Borussia Dortmund for another season as the Bundesliga club are not prepared to sell the England winger at a bargain price amid a collapsing transfer market as a result of the coronavirus crisis, German outlet Sport Bild reports.
Sancho, who turns 20 on Wednesday, has been regularly linked with leaving the Westfalenstadion this summer. Having joined the club from Manchester City's academy in 2017, Sancho's three years in Germany have seen him emerge as one of the most promising players in the game.
Manchester United and Chelsea have been heavily linked with Sancho, but Dortmund are holding out for a fee in the region of €130m, and they are not willing to negotiate a bargain deal should the coronavirus crisis lead to the collapse of the transfer market. Dortmund would then still have one more year to cash in on the winger, who is under contract until 2022.

08.38 GMT: The European Club Association (ECA), which consists of football's most powerful clubs including Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester United, has scheduled a board meeting on Friday ahead of emergency talks with FIFA over the potential disruption to this summer's transfer window caused by the coronavirus pandemic, sources have told ESPN.
Every major football competition in Europe, with the exception of the Belarussian Vysheyshaya Liga, has been forced to suspend all fixtures as a result of spread of the COVID-19 virus. Many European nations, including Italy, France and Spain, are in complete lockdown due to the crisis.
And with no date set for a return to action, concerns are growing within the game that the shutdown will lead to a huge impact on this summer's transfer market.
There are concerns that, with the prospect of the 2019-20 season being played to a conclusion at an unknown date in the future, the current timescale of the summer window, which runs from June 10 to Sept. 1, will prove to be unworkable if football is to be played throughout the summer months.
All professional playing contracts currently end on June 30, which is likely to pose another major problem unless FIFA is prepared to allow temporary extensions for those players whose deals are due to expire at the end of this season.
08.00 GMT: Chelsea forward Pedro says he is not considering his future right now despite becoming a free agent this summer.
The Spaniard, in isolation in London, told Cadena Ser radio "My contract ends but right now this is not the most important thing. I haven't even stopped to think about this.
"The most important thing is for everyone to show solidarity. Whatever happens regarding my future will happen but right now is not important as we don't even know when we will return to training. We have been in quarantine because one of our players [Callum Hudson-Odoi] tested positive for coronavirus, he is now well and are very happy for him."
Pedro, 32, joined Chelsea from Barcelona in 2015. He has only scored two goals in 18 appearances this season, most recently in the 4-0 win over Everton on March 8, Chelsea's last game before the Premier League was suspended.
PAPER TALK (by Nick Judd): Juventus looking at Jesus signing this summer
Juventus are keen to sign Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus to replace Gonzalo Higuain, according to Calciomercato.
The Bianconeri's chief football officer, Fabio Paratici, was keen to tempt the Brazilian striker away from the Etihad Stadium in January but could not persuade City to enter into discussions.
However, while Jesus remains a favourite of City boss Pep Guardiola, Paratici believes that the Spaniard could be tempted to sell in the summer as City look to freshen up their squad after a disappointing Premier League campaign.
With Higuain set to leave Juventus this summer and rumours growing about the future of Cristiano Ronaldo, Juve will be keen to land a marquee signing, and Jesus fits the bill. He has scored 18 goals in all competitions this season.
Juventus target "new Pirlo" Tonali
Juventus are not just looking to looking to freshen up their frontline this summer, but they're also looking to build a new midfield. If reports linking Ronaldo with a move away from Turin this summer are true, the club could have a significant war chest to play with.
Tuttosport say the first name on Juve's midfield most-wanted list is Brescia star Sandro Tonali, who has been linked with a number of clubs in recent weeks, including Manchester City. Tonali, whose appearance and Lombardi roots have seen him compared to Juve favourite Andrea Pirlo, is enjoying an incredible first season in Serie A, and he has forced his way into the Italy squad.
Despite the box-to-box midfielder's young age -- he's just 19 -- he could cost up to €60 million.
Unfortunately for Juve, they aren't alone in their admiration of Tonali, and Inter Milan, City and Paris Saint-Germain are also keen.
Juve have a couple of players filed under "Plan B," though. Their list includes Rome duo Nicolo Zaniolo and Lorenzo Pellegrini, plus Fiorentina duo Federico Chiesa and Gaetano Castrovilli.
Barca reach agreement for Martinez
Tuttosport are reporting that Barcelona have reached an agreement in principle for Inter Milan striker and long-term target Lautaro Martinez.
Martinez has arguably been Inter's most important player this season, as they've challenged Juventus at the top of Serie A, and the Argentine striker has been the focus of many club's attentions, not least Barcelona.
The Spanish giants appear to have edged forward in their ongoing pursuit of the 22-year-old, and Tuttosport believe that there is an agreement in principle between the player and the Blaugrana, who now have to persuade Inter to part with their prized asset.
It looks as though Barca will have to part with €111 million to activate his release clause.

-- It looks as though Arkadiusz Milik's time at Napoli is coming to an end. Unwilling to sign a new deal and with his existing contract running out in 2021, Napoli might accept somewhere in the region of €50 million for his signature to avoid losing him on a free, according to Calciomercato.
-- Speaking of Milan, they look set to take a risk on Nantes' impressive 20-year-old midfielder, Imran Louza, this summer, Calciomercato reported. The youngster has scored two goals and added two assists in two appearances in Ligue 1 this season. Milan are likely to lose Lucas Biglia and Jack Bonaventura, and Louza has good feet and vision, both of which have impressed the club's chief scout, Geoffrey Moncada. Louza is likely to cost €10 million.
