TOP STORY: Spurs showing interest in Bailey
Leon Bailey wants to leave Bayer Leverkusen, and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in making that happen, according to Sky Sports.
The 23-year-old winger has three years left on his contract at Leverkusen but has made it clear since July that he wishes to play in the Premier League.
However, the report says that Leverkusen will need to lower their asking price of €45 million if a move is to come to fruition.
Spurs might have some competition to secure his signature, as Everton and Manchester United have also been linked with the Jamaica international.

22.45 BST: It looks as if Arsenal goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez's move to Aston Villa is all but a formality now,
Amidst reports the two clubs had agreed on a £20 million fee for the goalkeeper, the Argentine has now issued an emotional goodbye to the London club and its fans via his personal Instagram account.
Martinez, 28, has been at Arsenal since 2012 but had only played sparingly for the club until an injury to No.1 Bernd Leno last season. Martinez's strong performances during last season's run-in and in the FA Cup final, made him a coveted goalkeeper in England with Villa ultimately winning the race for his signature.
Villa have to unveil the Argentine but we would expect that to happen in the next day or so.
22.07 BST: With Chelsea stockpiling attacking talent this summer, many are wondering what role Callum Hudson-Odoi will play?
It turns out the prized 20-year-old is still in high demand, Sky Germany reporting that Bayern Munich, Juventus and RB Leipzig are all interested in the winger. The report adds that Juve and Leipzig have made official enquiries over the youngster's availability.
Hudson-Odoi, who was hotly pursued by Bayern Munich two summers ago -- and again in January -- scored four goals and added seven assists over all competitions for the Blues last season.
21.23 BST: Oscar to Arsenal?
The former Chelsea star, who moved to China for a whopping £60 million in 2017, recently gave an interview expressing a desire to return to European football, mentioning Chelsea, Arsenal and Inter in the process.
Oscar told Fox Sports Brasil: "They [Willian and David Luiz] called me, they had to call me. Because we have good communication. Sometimes I talk to them. They said "come to Arsenal, come here'.
"But for me it's a little more difficult. I have a contract with Shanghai, it's a little more difficult to leave."
Asked whether he will return to Europe at some point, Oscar replied emphatically: "I really want to go back to Europe. [But] Not now.
"Of course the first club I'd choose if I could go back to Europe is Chelsea, for sure, which is the club that I built a very beautiful history with.
"And when I was a child I watched the Italian league a lot because there were many Brazilians there. So there are some teams from Italy that I like a lot, like Inter, Milan.
"So I'd think about going to the Italian league if I return one day."
20.42 BST: Catching up on one from earlier... United States international Ulysses Llanez has joined Dutch outfit Heerenveen on loan from VfL Wolfsburg.

The 19-year-old, who has yet to make his senior debut at club level, is a very highly regarded prospect within the U.S. set-up and scored on his international debut back in February. A standout for Wolfsburg at the Under-19 level, the winger joins a Heerenveen side that finished mid-table in the Eredivisie last campaign.
20.06 BST: Tottenham have moved ahead of Man United and into pole position to sign Real Madrid left-back Sergio Reguilon, sources tell ESPN's Alex Kirkland.
Spurs and Real Madrid have reportedly agreed a fee of around €30 million for the Spain international, who will sign a five-year deal with the club. The 23-year-old, who starred last season on loan at Sevilla, has been at the centre of a tug-of-war between the two English clubs. Reguilon is said to be intrigued by the project at Tottenham and is keen to work under Jose Mourinho.
Tottenham have made three signings so far this summer, having acquired Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Southampton, Matt Doherty from Wolves and former England goalkeeper Joe Hart on a free.
19.20 BST: Schalke 04 have a new striker, as the club have acquired Portuguese frontman Goncalo Paciencia from Bundesliga rivals Eintracht Frankfurt.
Paciencia, who bagged 10 goals over 43 games last season with Frankfurt, will join initially on loan, with Schalke having the option to make the move permanent after the season. The 26-year-old will be a welcome sight at the Veltins Arena, as Schalke scored only 38 goals last season (third fewest), only five of which came from strikers.
18.43 BST: Are Arsenal keen on a former Roma star?
Stephan El Shaarawy, who now plays in China with Shanghai Shenhua, is on the Gunners' radar, Gianluca Di Marzio reports. The 27-year-old, Italy international is looking to move back to Europe given the current COVID-19 situation and Arsenal, PSG and Atletico Madrid are all reportedly interested.

The towering striker arrives in Rome from Fenerbahce for a reported €17.5 million and will join last season's Capocannoniere winner Ciro Immobile up front for the Eagles. A Kosovo international, Muriqi, 26, scored 15 league goals last season for Fenerbahce and 17 the season prior with Caykur Rizespor.
17.28 BST: Sami Khedira's contract looks set to be terminated at Juventus, according to Goal.
Khedira, 33, joined on a free transfer in 2015 after leaving Real Madrid but made just 18 appearances for the Bianconeri last term after struggling with injury.
After the signings of Weston McKennie from Schalke and Arthur from Barcelona, the German is set to drop down the pecking order in Turin and the club could save a reported €6m in salary per season by letting him go.
16.44 BST: West Brom have brought a familiar face back to the Premier League as ex-Chelsea centre-back Branislav Ivanovic has joined the Baggies on a one-year contract.

The three-time Premier League and one-time Champions League winner, now 36, arrives at the Hawthorns after three seasons with Russian giants Zenit Saint Petersburg.
Baggies boss Slaven Bilic believes Ivanovic will be a major asset to his newly-promoted side.
"He's a great addition for us, a team who are newly promoted in the Premier League. He ticks all the boxes for us.
"He's done everything in his career -- it's been magnificent. We're delighted. He adds quality and experience on the pitch and off the pitch.
"So it is not only him, it is him plus the influence he will have on not just defenders but the whole team around him. That's why we targeted him as one of our prime targets.

Sources told ESPN the new deal is worth £250,000-a-week with further performance-related bonuses on top and represents a significant improvement on his £180,000-a-week wage. The Gabon international, 31, has scored 72 goals in 111 appearances for the Gunners since arriving from Borussia Dortmund in Jan. 2018.
15.51 BST: Talks are progressing between Manchester United and Real Madrid over a deal for full-back Sergio Reguilon, says transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano. Though a sticking point remains the insertion of a buyback clause in the contract.
United have been monitoring Reguilon's situation at Real Madrid but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's priority remains bringing in attacking reinforcements before the transfer deadline, sources told ESPN's Rob Dawson earlier this month.
United have been made aware through intermediaries that Reguilon, who spent last season on loan at Sevilla, is available. And Sevilla signed Marcos Acuna from Sporting CP as his replacement on Monday.
15.30 BST: Liverpool made £142m when they sold Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona in 2018. Will they have to raise funds again to rebuild?
14.48 BST: Barcelona sporting director Ramon Planes has had a few updates to bring us...
On the pursuit of Manchester City defender Eric Garcia: "[Barcelona are] Looking for players to help in defence and Eric's a good player, he developed here. We want to build a team that mixes talent, quality and youth; Eric fits profile we want and we're looking into it ... but also other names being followed that haven't come out in media."
On a possible exit for Luis Suarez: "He's been and is an important player for Barcelona in recent years and for that reasons deserves maximum respect. Following the end of the season, we're in a process of change, changing the coach, ideas... But we have to respect the players and their contracts. Until Oct. 5, when the window closes, anything can happen."
On signing Lyon's Memphis Depay: 'It's been public for months that we're working on improving the team, looking for players of quality and experience, because not just any footballer can play for Barca. Among them, we're looking for a forward, but that's not dependent on the departures of players in the squad now. We always aspire to have the best possible squad."
On allowing Arturo Vidal to move Inter Milan: "A player with a huge heart who works hard and we have to thank him for what he's given us in his two years with the club."
14.13 BST: The summer transfer window has now entered its final three weeks, with all business in Europe's major leagues needing to be completed by Oct. 5. So far, most top clubs have been cautious with big-money moves in the market because of the financial uncertainty created by the coronavirus pandemic.
But despite the financial prudence that is sweeping the market, there are still some big deals on the table and high-profile players looking to move. So with just 21 days to go until the window shuts, ESPN looks at which players will get their move and which ones will be left frustrated, including:

13.49 BST: Fernando Torres has revealed why he made a £50m deadline day move to rivals Chelsea from Liverpool in January 2011.
"I was really happy at Liverpool but if you remember at that time the club was about to be sold and it was a very difficult situation,' he told talkSPORT. "They sold all their best players, Javier Mascherano left, Xabi Alonso left, Rafa Benitez left, and they started bringing in young players so they needed maybe five, six, seven years to create a winning team again and I didn't have that time because I left my home in Atletico to win trophies.
"Unfortunately there was many lies by the owners that Liverpool had at that time and in the end I needed to find my own way which was Chelsea who I thought would be the club who would offer me the chance of winning trophies."
13.05 BST: Barcelona have finally announced the signing of Miralem Pjanic from Juventus, even though the deal was agreed in June.
Pjanic, a Bosnia and Herzegovina midfielder, will join Barca for €60m plus €5m in possible add-ons and has agreed a four-year deal with a €400m release clause. In return, Juve will pay Barca €72m for Arthur with a further €10m in potential add-ons.

12.45 BST: Some Bundesliga news for you. Mario Gotze is still without a new contract, but at least the 2014 World Cup winner, who last played at Dortmund, has found a new agent, he confirmed to Bild. Gotze is now with Lian Sports, having joined his previous agent, Reza Fazehli, only earlier this year.
Elsewhere, Schalke are in talks with Eintracht Frankfurt over the transfer of Goncalo Paciencia. The 26-year-old is only third-choice attacker at Frankfurt and could move on an initial loan which will then be turned into a permanent transfer.
And Cologne are set to sign Union Berlin attacker Seb Andersson today and Hertha midfielder Ondrej Duda tomorrow. Attacker Jhon Cordoba, meanwhile, will head in the other direction and move to Hertha.
12.21 BST: Chelsea are close to signing goalkeeper Edouard Mendy from Rennes for €20m, but manager Frank Lampard came out in support of current No. 1 Kepa Arrizabalaga after the Spaniard conceded a poor goal in the 3-1 win over Brighton on Monday.
"I am very happy with Kepa," Lampard said. "With the shot I'm not sure if he could've done any better. But I saw a bit more confidence in how he was playing. Kepa is here, he's our keeper and I'm happy with him. If we are bringing in competition, it will be competition. That's the nature of Chelsea and it goes throughout the squad."
11.47 BST: Beitar Jerusalem are negotiating a possible investment by a group in the United Arab Emirates, the Israeli Premier League club said as the countries moved to formalise ties.
"This is an opportunity to turn Beitar Jerusalem into a dominant club ... that will represent, in addition to soccer, a concrete symbol of the new winds of peace that are blowing in the Middle East," Beitar said in a statement.
The club gave no details on the prospective deal or investors, other than to identify them as "entrepreneurs from Abu Dhabi".
Club owner Moshe Hogeg will fly to the UAE capital soon to pursue the negotiations, the Beitar statement said.
11.30 BST: Today is clearly the day for new contracts. Aston Villa's Jack Grealish has signed a new five-year contract, ending speculation over a £60m move to Manchester United.
Grealish told the club website: "I am delighted to make this commitment to Villa. It is my club, my home and I am very happy here. The owners have made it very clear to me how ambitious they are and how they want to build Aston Villa. There are exciting times ahead and I am very glad to be part of it."

11.20 BST: One player who could depart Arsenal is Lucas Torreira, with Fiorentina and Torino both interested in signing the Uruguay midfielder.
The Guardian says that Torreira has slipped down the pecking order at the Emirates now Mohamed Elneny has returned from his loan spell in Turkey and will be allowed to leave on loan.
11.06 BST: That new contract for Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang looks like it will finally be announced later.

10.57 BST: Tottenham have moved ahead of Manchester United in the race to sign Gareth Bale from Real Madrid, sources have told ESPN's Mark Ogden, with the 31-year-old's prospects of a switch to Old Trafford dependent on the outcome of United's pursuit of Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.
Spurs manager Jose Mourinho has made it clear to chairman Daniel Levy that he needs attacking reinforcements to ease the goal scoring burden on Harry Kane and efforts to negotiate a deal with Real and Bale have taken place, giving the North London club the edge over United, who are focusing on other priorities at this stage.
Bale has been told he can leave Real this summer, seven years after moving to the Santiago Bernabeu in an £85.3m transfer from Spurs.
The La Liga champions are prepared to sell the Wales international for £18m, but with Real needing to make big cuts to their wage bill, a subsidised loan deal aimed at sharing the cost of Bale's £600,000-a-week salary is also on the table for Spurs and United.
But while sources have told ESPN that United's interest in Bale is serious, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer only sees the four-time Champions League winner as a back-up option should a move for top target Sancho fail.
10.40 BST: Sky Sport Italia reports that Napoli want to sign former Barcelona and Everton winger Gerard Deulofeu.
Deulofeu, 26, was relegated from the Premier League with Watford at the end of last season and Napoli reportedly want him on loan with an option to buy. Though they may be forced to turn that into an obligation to buy to make Watford happy.
10.06 BST: Lionel Messi is the world's wealthiest footballer, according to Forbes, after a report into his earnings put him above rival Cristiano Ronaldo.
Messi's total earnings this year are $126m -- $92m from his salary and $34m in endorsements.
Ronaldo comes in second although earnings of $117m will soften the blow for the Juventus forward, as will his status as the most followed soccer player in the world on social media.
Neymar comes in third on the Forbes list ($96m) with his Paris Saint-Germain teammate, 21-year-old Kylian Mbappe, up in fourth spot ($42m).
09.38 BST: Lyon winger Memphis Depay has been linked with a €25m move to Barcelona to join new boss Ronald Koeman.
09.02 BST: Mundo Deportivo says that Barcelona are only willing to spend as much as €15m to sign Manchester City defender Eric Garcia, or they will wait to land him on a free transfer next summer.
Garcia, 19, has decided not to extend his contract at City despite making the breakthrough into the first-team this season.
Barca would prefer to bring Garcia in during the current transfer window but face a number of obstacles when it comes to getting a deal over the line. Sources told ESPN back in August that €15m was as high as they were willing to go, but Mundo reports that an offer of €10m has been rejected and they will now go back with another bid.
Sources told ESPN's Moises Llorens and Sam Marsden that Man City feel the player is worth €30m, despite the fact he could walk away for free in 2021.
08.33 BST: Luis Suarez risks spending the season in the stands as he remains in a tense stand-off with Barcelona over his contract situation, sources have told ESPN's Sam Marsden and Moises Llorens.
Suarez, 33, is surplus to requirements at Camp Nou and new coach Ronald Koeman informed him last month that he should look for a new club.
However, the striker still has one year left on his contract and believes the club should pay him the final year of his deal in full if they want him to leave now. He is paid around €25m gross annually, according to local reports in Catalonia.
08.00 BST: Manchester United fear increased competition for Jadon Sancho's signature next summer if they cannot prise him away from Borussia Dortmund in this transfer window, sources have told ESPN's Rob Dawson.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has not given up hope of signing Sancho, despite Dortmund insisting privately they will keep the 20-year-old for at least another season.
Despite making progress with wages and agent fees, United are adamant they will not pay the €120m asking price and are ready to pursue other targets to fill the hole in the squad.

Milik closing in on Roma move
Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik is getting closer to completing a move to AS Roma, reports Corriere dello Sport.
The two clubs are set to agree on a deal worth €25m, plus add-ons, which will end a feud between Napoli and the Poland international.
Napoli threatened not to play Milik if he were still at the club by the end of the transfer window, and the frontman also wanted to depart.
This move could have a knock-on effect in the market by freeing up Roma's Edin Dzeko to complete a transfer to Juventus.
Roma switch attention away from Smalling
Roma have given up on signing Chris Smalling, despite the Englishman's successful loan last term, due to Manchester United's excessive transfer demands, reports Calciomercato.
This has seen them switch their attention toward centre-backs within Serie A, specifically Armando Izzo and Marash Kumbulla, of Torino and Hellas Verona, respectively.
It is the latter of these deals that is reportedly most likely to be completed, despite Lazio, Juventus, Internazionale and AC Milan all having shown interest in Kumbulla.
The report suggests that Roma have jumped straight to the front of the queue to secure the 20-year-old's signature.

It is suggested within the report that Spurs would need to pay £5.5m if they are to bring in the 31-year-old.
-- AC Milan are halting any transfer negotiations until they have completed their Europa League qualifying match against Shamrock Rovers, Calciomercato reports. It is suggested that once the game is out of the way, they will be looking to sign Chelsea outcast Tiemoue Bakayoko and deal with Freiburg's offer for Rade Krunic. There has not yet been an offer for Lucas Paqueta, but Lyon are interested in the Brazilian, and Milan are willing to let him go.
-- West Ham United are considering a series of loan offers for young goalkeeper Nathan Trott, according to the Daily Mail. They have turned down an approach from Coventry City, who had been looking to bring in the England youth international but had hoped to use him as a backup option. After his loan spell at AFC Wimbledon last season, the Hammers are keen for Trott to get more first-team minutes and have interest from the Championship, League One and teams across Europe.
