TOP STORY: City open to Sterling exit?
Manchester City are showing a willingness to let Raheem Sterling leave during the summer, according to Football Insider.
Sergio Aguero will already be leaving for free due to his contract coming to an end and England international Sterling may be allowed to join him in his Etihad exit if the right offer comes in. The report adds that City would want a transfer fee of £80 million to let Sterling leave.
This comes with Pep Guardiola looking to overhaul the City attack, with Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland and Aston Villa talisman Jack Grealish mentioned as players the presumptive Premier League winners would like to add.
A telling sign of Sterling's declining influence at City is that the 26-year-old has managed just 22 minutes across the club's last four Champions League games -- he remained on the bench for the full 90 minutes of the 2-1 win against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League semifinal first leg.
The winger has also started just one of City's last five Premier League games, with Phil Foden often thriving on the left hand side.
If Grealish is brought in during the summer, then it would signify even more competition for Sterling's place in the team.

22.00 BST: AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has yet to agree to a new deal with his club, and Calciomercato claim that Juventus are interested in the Azzurri No. 1.
Juve are willing to offer Donnarumma a €10m salary, but the side will need to decide what to do with incumbent Wojciech Szczesny, who remains under contract until 2024 with a yearly salary of over €10m.
21.30 BST: Everton's Colombian defender Yerry Mina could be on his way to Napoli as Kalidou Koulibaly could head to the English side, according to Football Insider.
While Toffees boss Carlo Ancelotti has been dependent on Mina this season in the backline, he is keen on reuniting with Koulibaly at Goodison Park. Mina joined Everton from Barcelona for around £27m in 2018. Any deal for Koulibaly would probably involve a transfer fee that could reach £50m.
20.50 BST: Riqui Puig has been a welcome development for Barcelona but the club would be willing to part with him to finance their other offseason moves. According to Calciomercato, Serie A rivals Inter Milan and Juventus are preparing respective bids for the young player.
Puig may see his future under Ronald Koeman limited and a move to Italy could be best for his development. Inter star Lautaro Martinez is stil on Barca's radar, so don't be surprised if any deal could involve the players.
20.15 BST: Staying on the managerial front, outgoing Bayern Munich boss Hansi Flick is said to have no interest in taking the Tottenham Hotspur job. German outlet Sport1 reports Flick has been wildly speculated to replace Joachim Low as the Germany men's national team coach, although it has yet to be officially confirmed.
Tottenham had been linked with several candidates after sacking Jose Mourinho last month, including Julian Nagelsmann (who'll take over Bayern from RB Leipzig) and Jesse Marsch (who'll take over Leipzig from FC Salzburg).
19.50 BST: Inter Milan are on the verge of breaking Juventus' nine-season Serie A title streak, could that mean anything for Juve manager Andrea Pirlo? Gazzetta dello Sport reports that former manager Massimiliano Allegri could be the radar to take over in Turin once more.
Juve's front office has expressed confidence that Pirlo will remain on the touchline next season, but the team faces uncertainty with it in danger of missing out on Champions League play altogether and rumours swirling around Cristiano Ronaldo's potential exit.
Allegri was in charge of five of those nine titles, but any return would reportedly require that he have a bigger say in the roster and its likely overhaul.
On the speculation about his job, Pirlo told reporters: "I am fine, I spoke to the owners the other day, as often happens. It certainly wasn't the first time."
19.15 BST: Newcastle United have seemingly near securing another year in the Premier League but the future of Joe Willock remains murky. The on-loan player from Arsenal has gained a fan in Magpies boss Steve Bruce, saying: "That is obviously a conversation we have to have with Arsenal, with respect to them."
But Gunners manager Mikel Arteta has said Willock could still make his mark in London, adding: "He's a player we really like, so, at the end of the season, he'll come back here, and then we'll make the decision again for what is best to move forward."
18.30 BST: If Lionel Messi does return to Barcelona, it seems like he'll have to take a pay cut. According to Eurosport, Messi will accept a deal that will be less than €40m net a year, which in turn will allow the team to begin looking signing Erling Haaland.
Barca coach Ronald Koeman had identified Lyon star Memphis Depay as a potential reinforcement, but Blaugrana president Joan Laporta believes that a deal for Haaland is still doable.
18.00 BST: Arturo Vidal has been linked with a move from Inter Milan to Marseille, but talks between the clubs have broken due to the Chilean's wage demands. According to Calciomercato, Vidal had been linked with a move to join with Marseille coach Jorge Sampaoli's side after a tough year at Inter.
But with Marseille likely failing to get a Champions League berth next season, they'll likely be able to bring in high-priced reinforcements such as Vidal. The ex-Barcelona and Bayern Munich man's time at the San Siro is likely done, having been sidelined with a knee injury for almost two months.
17.27 BST: With Tammy Abraham seemingly surplus to requirements for Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel (see 10.37 BST), does the striker have any hope of resurrecting his Stamford Bridge career?
16.51 BST: Chelsea could offer Barcelona competition for the signing of Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot, Calciomercato reports.
Rabiot has been linked with leaving Turin this summer as Juve are keen to get his €7m-a-year contract off their wage bill to help finance a rebuild of the squad with Inter Milan all but certain to rob them of a 10th straight title this season
According to Calciomercato, Rabiot's mother and agent Veronique has already made contact with Barca over a move for the France international, but Chelsea are considering a move to have him line up next to compatriot N'Golo Kante in their midfield.
The report adds that Juve would hope to receive a transfer fee of €20m for the 26-year-old.
16.03 BST: Mino Raiola didn't only discuss the future of Erling Haaland in his interview with AS (see 11.57 BST). The agent also brought up another of his star clients -- Paul Pogba.
On the subject of the Manchester United midfielder, who has been frequently linked with Real Madrid, Raiola said: "Playing at Madrid was always attractive for him because of Zidane, he was his idol.
"Nothing is impossible, but football depends on the day. You have to be flexible. What if tomorrow, Madrid want to swap [Eden Hazard] for Pogba? That's just an example, but if all four parties want to, why not?"
15.15 BST: Barcelona are entering the final stretch in negotiations to sign Eric Garcia, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The Spanish centre-back's contract with Manchester City expires on June 30 and he has turned down a contract extension.
Garcia's wish is to return to Barca, the club he left in 2017 for City. His agent, Ivan de la Pena, is negotiating with Barcelona executives the terms of his contract and negotiations are advancing.
14.32 BST: Dutch goalkeeper Kenneth Vermeer is in discussions with FC Cincinnati and is expected to sign with the club as a free agent, sources told ESPN's Kyle Bonagura.
Vermeer, 35, spent the 2020 season with LAFC and remained with the club through the preseason until his contract was terminated on April 16, the eve of the club's season opener. In eight starts in Major League Soccer last year, Vermeer compiled a 2-3-3 record, while splitting time with Pablo Sisniega. He also started all five of LAFC's matches in the CONCACAF Champions League, including the final.
Prior to arriving in MLS, Vermeer had a 15-year career in his home country during which he appeared over 100 times for both Ajax Amsterdam and Feyenoord. He has received five caps from the Netherlands national team.
Vermeer would add a veteran presence in a position of need for Cincinnati, and would link up again with FCC coach Jaap Stam, his teammate at Ajax in 2006-07.

13.43 BST: Manchester City have completed the signing of teenage Argentinian striker Dario Sarmiento from Estudiantes, the South American club have announced.
Sarmiento, 18, will reportedly join City on July 1 for an initial fee of $6m, with Estudiantes retaining a 20% share of any future transfer fee. City are yet to announce confirmation of the transfer.
"Having fulfilled the requirements established in the transfer framework agreement signed in a timely manner with Manchester City, our player Darío Sarmiento will join the English club on July 1," the club said in a statement.
Sarmiento made his Estudiantes first team debut on Oct. 2019, thus becoming the second youngest player to do so. He has played 22 games in all competitions for Estudiantes since.
Sarmiento, who has played for Argentina's youth teams, has been likened to Lionel Messi. He will arrive at City at the same time that compatriot and City's all-time record goal scorer, Sergio Aguero, departs when his contract expires.

12.51 BST: Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave Juventus but may struggle to find a suitable destination after Real Madrid ruled out a move for the forward, according to Marca.
The newspaper claims that "bad results, a negative financial situation and tense dressing room relationships" -- with Juventus currently fourth in Serie A in Andrea Pirlo's debut season as coach -- have led the player, agent Jorge Mendes and club executives to consider a departure.
With a Bernabeu return "impossible", Marca suggests Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain as alternatives, with Ronaldo reluctant to consider "less competitive leagues."
11.57 BST: Agent Mino Raiola has warned Real Madrid and Barcelona not to miss out on signing Erling Haaland, and said the forward could be on the move this summer despite Borussia Dortmund's reluctance to agree to a transfer.
"What we know today is that Dortmund spoke seriously with us and told us 'we aren't selling him,'" Raiola told AS in an interview on Saturday. "Now we'll have to see if that's their wish until Sept. 1... That's Dortmund's official position. But I have another position, I think that if a good opportunity comes up and everyone is happy, we'll put it on the table."
Dortmund are fifth in the Bundesliga, a point off the Champions League qualification places. A release clause in Haaland's contract doesn't come into effect until 2022, and sources told ESPN that there is no provision in his deal to trigger a departure if they miss out on Champions League football next season.
"Haaland is interested in two things: scoring goals and winning trophies," Raiola said. "When a club like Barcelona or Madrid comes along, with so much history, it's hard to say no. Paris Saint-Germain are joining that group of big clubs, [Manchester] City are trying to, Juventus always have been. The league they play in is important too."
11.23 BST: Tottenham do not need to secure Champions League qualification in order to keep Harry Kane at the club, according to the club's interim head coach Ryan Mason.
Spurs are five points off the Premier League's top four with five matches left to play, making a return to Europe's top club competition unlikely.
Kane is reportedly ready to leave the club in order to pursue his ambitions of winning top trophies, but when this was put to Mason at Friday news conference he said: "I don't believe so. Harry Kane loves this club, that has been proven over the last seven or eight years.
"He is one of the best strikers in the world. Everyone knows that, we know that. I'd like to think Harry knows that as well."
10.37 BST: Chelsea are prepared to offload Tammy Abraham this summer with West Ham, Aston Villa and Newcastle among a number of clubs interested in the striker, sources have told ESPN's James Olley.
The 23-year-old has scored 12 goals in all competitions this season but last started a game on Feb. 20. Thomas Tuchel replaced Frank Lampard as head coach less than a month earlier and although Abraham has struggled with an ankle problem, he has often failed to make the bench even when fit under the new coach.
ESPN reported in March that contract talks between Chelsea and Abraham had stalled with the England international mindful both of his lack of first-team opportunities and also the club's plans to spend big on a centre-forward this summer.
Abraham will have two years left on his contract at the end of the campaign and sources have told ESPN that Chelsea are willing to offload the striker while they can maximise his value. Reports have suggested they are prepared to accept £40m but there is confidence among the interested parties that a deal could be done for less.
09.44 BST: Brazil forward Neymar is Barcelona's top target this summer, according to Catalan radio station RAC 1.
The Paris Saint-Germain star has been in talks but has yet to sign a contract extension with the Ligue 1 giants. His current deal expires in June 2022. According to RAC 1, Neymar is eager to return to Barca and would not make too many financial demands to do so.
Barca have been in contact with PSG to discuss the possibility of Neymar's return but so far to no avail as the player is considered non-transferable. However, should Neymar not sign a new deal, PSG will be forced to sell the Brazilian forward or risk seeing him leave as a free agent in the summer of 2022.
Barca are nevertheless convinced that Neymar can leave PSG for an offer that is lower than the one they presented two years ago, that is €130m plus three players.
09.00 BST: Manchester United are growing increasingly confident that Edinson Cavani will stay at the club for another season following productive talks with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, sources have told ESPN's Rob Dawson.
Cavani looked set to leave Old Trafford after just one season after growing disillusioned with life in England.
The 34-year-old is wanted by Boca Juniors, but after Cavani rediscovered his best form with five goals in April, a source close to the Uruguay international has told ESPN he is now leaning towards remaining at United.
Cavani and his representatives are set for talks with the club before the end of the campaign. He remains upset at receiving an FA suspension over a controversial Instagram post, but sources have told ESPN he is also keen to stay in Europe for as long as possible ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

- Napoli have offered €10m to sign Club Brugge's 20-year-old midfielder Charles De Ketelaere, reports Gazzetta dello Sport. While there are many uncertainties at the Serie A outfit, including the contract renewal of Lorenzo Insigne and whether Kalidou Koulibaly or Fabian Ruiz will leave, it seems they have their hearts set on signing the young Belgian.
- PSG have offered Julian Draxler a one-year contract extension, with the midfielder's previous deal coming to an end in the summer of this year, says L'Equipe. This decision comes from how much appreciation the German has gained from Mauricio Pochettino since the Argentine took over at the Parc des Princes.
-- William Carvalho's future at Real Betis is uncertain, with the club currently looking for a way to offload the 29-year-old, according to AS. The Portugal midfielder has struggled to impress Manuel Pellegrini this term, and it is suggested the La Liga outfit want to let him leave before his value depreciates any further.
- Henrikh Mkhitaryan's contract with Roma comes to an end in the summer, and the Armenian may be set to leave due to Mino Raiola not yet accepting the club's renewal, reports Calciomercato. The story says that a clause was inserted in his current deal in which there would be a renewal once the midfielder hit 25 appearances -- which has already happened -- but due to his agent he may now be moving elsewhere.
- Steve Bruce has insisted that French winger Allan Saint-Maximin will be staying at Newcastle United past the summer transfer window, as has been reported by as has been reported by the Daily Mail. The 24-year-old has impressed in recent weeks and it has been suggested that this has alerted onlookers. However, it seems the Magpies will be doing all they can to keep their star.
