Spanish Football Federation president Luis Rubiales has been accused of coercion, fraud and making threats by the Association of Women's Soccer Clubs (ACFF) with respect to the distribution of the audiovisual rights of the women's top flight. The ACFF filed a complaint alleging that Rubiales and the Spanish Football Association's general secretary Andreu Camps had carried out a "harassment campaign" against the clubs that make up the Liga Iberdrola to get control of those rights. A court in Majadahonda, Madrid, has accepted the complaint and Rubiales will be summoned to court on April 29 while the ACFF president Ruben Alcaine will testify on May 14. The ACFF had already told the Liga Iberdrola to distribute their audiovisual rights and the collective commercialisation of those via a public tender which was awarded to Mediapro. A Spanish FA statement said that two courts have already rejected the ACFF's complaint and it expects the case to be turned down again. "The Royal Spanish Football Federation trusts the justice system and, therefore, is sure that this complaint will also have the same fate as the previous actions," a statement said.
