Schalke have completed the transfer of Serbia defender Matija Nastasic from Manchester City. Nastasic will join the Bundesliga club on loan until the end of the season but Schalke have the option to buy out his City contract, which runs through 2017. The 21-year-old Serb has already joined his new teammates at their training camp in Qatar and signed the contract after passing a medical on Wednesday. Nastasic got little playing time under City coach Manuel Pellegrini this season, failing to make an appearance in the Premier League.
