Juventus sign Brazilian goalkeeper Neto on a free, Storari joins Cagliari

Juventus have signed Brazilian goalkeeper Norberto Neto on a free transfer.

Neto, 25, was at Fiorentina last season but his contract expired this summer and he has now chosen to continue his career in Turin, signing a four-and-a-half year deal until 2019.

The Brazilian goalkeeper was being tracked by Liverpool earlier this year and came through the Cruzeiro academy before moving on to Atletico Paranaense and Fiorentina in January 2011.

Neto will become the Italian champions' No. 2 behind Gianluigi Buffon and has played over 100 times for La Viola.

Juventus also announced earlier that Marco Storari has completed his move to Cagliari.

The previous backup goalkeeper lifted four Scudetti, two Italian Super Cups and one Coppa Italia while at the club, but the 38-year-old will now embark on a fresh challenge.

A statement on the club website read: "All associated with Juventus Football Club wish Marco all the very best for this new chapter of his career."
