Lyon's Samuel Umtiti puts Barcelona transfer talk on hold during Euro 2016

Lyon defender Samuel Umtiti has said his future is up in the air this summer but that any talk of a move to Barcelona will wait until after Euro 2016.

Umtiti, 22, is currently on duty with France ahead of their opening European Championship group game against Romania on Friday.

On Sunday, L'Equipe reported that Barcelona were preparing a €25 million offer for the player and a day later he hinted that he would be keen on a move to the Spanish double winners.

"Barcelona is a club where quite a lot of players would like to play," he told L'Equipe 21.

"Beyond that I have a contract with Olympique Lyonnais like everyone knows and, given the season we've just had, I feel very good in Lyon, so it's not yet news."

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has already hinted that there is truth to rumours that Barcelona would like to sign the left-sided centre-back this summer.

Umtiti has also been linked with Tottenham but previously said that La Liga's style might suit his game better.

"Everything is possible -- staying as well as leaving," he said on Monday. "But honestly for the moment I'm concentrated on the Euros.

"I want to do things in the correct way. Afterwards we'll have discussions with my club."
