Tottenham have signed midfielder Victor Wanyama from Southampton for a fee of around £11 million.
The 24-year-old Kenyan completed a medical earlier this week and has agreed a five-year deal at White Hart Lane.
Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino signed Wanyama for Southampton in a £12 million deal from Celtic in July 2013 and he is the first player to be reunited with the Argentine in North London -- although Toby Alderweireld joined Spurs last summer after spending a season on loan at St. Mary's from Atletico Madrid.
Saints blocked Spurs' attempts to sign Wanyama, who is the first Kenyan to represent Spurs, last summer but reluctantly agreed to sell the player, who had one year remaining on his contract.
Wanyama made 85 league appearances for the south-coast club, scoring four goals.

Wanyama, who moved to Southampton from Celtic in 2013, paid tribute to the club's supporters on his personal website.
"I write to you with a heavy heart to announce that I will be leaving Southampton Football Club," he said in an open letter. "As you can imagine it is very emotional for me to say goodbye to the club that gave me the chance to be the first Kenyan to play in Premier League.
"Firstly, I would like to thank the most important part of every club, the fans. It took a while for me to win you all over but I can truly say that with your support and affection I have grown as a player and a person.
"You guys have always been there to lift us up when we were down, and to celebrate with us when we were playing well. I feel really proud that I got the opportunity to wear the Southampton shirt.
"I will never forget my time in Southampton Football Club, I will keep the club forever in my heart."
Pochettino has been eager to boost his options in midfield with Tottenham hoping to balance Champions League football with another title challenge next season.
The Argentinian is also eager to bring an extra forward to provide cover for Harry Kane but Spurs are yet to follow up talks with AZ Alkmaar striker Vincent Janssen.
Janssen visited Tottenham's training ground two weeks ago and spoke to the club about his future but Tottenham have not submitted an official bid.
The Dutch striker is currently on holiday in Barcelona and has also held talks with German club Wolfsburg, although a move to Spurs remains the 22-year-old's preferred choice.
