Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Real Madrid playmaker Isco in January or next summer, a source has told ESPN FC.
Spurs were linked with Isco in the most recent transfer window, although club sources dismissed the suggestion at that time.
However, on Thursday a source said the club were monitoring the 24-year-old Spain international's situation at the Bernabeu.
A loan deal in January that includes the option of a permanent deal next summer is a possible scenario.
But Isco's agent Paco Alarcon told Italian website Calciomercato.com: "I can assure you we won't consider any offers until next summer."
Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino is well-stocked with attacking midfield options and Christian Eriksen, Son Heung-Min, Moussa Sissoko, Dele Alli and Erik Lamela have all impressed this season.
Isco has started just two matches for Real and said last week: "If I've still only made a few appearances by the end of the season, I'll look elsewhere.
"At 24 years of age, I have the right to better myself."
