Hull City to rival Crystal Palace for Olympiakos' Luka Milivojevic - sources

Hull City are set to rival Crystal Palace for Olympiakos midfielder Luka Milivojevic, sources close to the Humberside club have told ESPN FC.

Palace boss Sam Allardyce has targeted a move for Serbian international Milivojevic as he looks to strengthen his midfield options before the close of the transfer window.

Allardyce was hopeful of sealing a deal for the 25-year-old, but now Hull are planning a late move to steal the player from under the noses of their relegation rivals.

Hull City are in the market for midfield reinforcements before the close of the transfer window after selling Jake Livermore to West Bromich Albion earlier this month ,while Robert Snodgrass is on the verge of a move to West Ham.

Hull boss Marco Silva is desperate to add to his squad before next week's Tuesday's deadline and the club are ready to give him the funds from the sales of Livermore and Snodgrass to bring in new players.

Silva knows all about Milivojevic, having signed him during his time in charge of Olympiakos, and he is ready to make a move to bring him to the KCOM Stadium.

Olympiakos would be reluctant to lose Milivojevic, but they are expecting more offers for the player before the transfer window closes.
