Western Sydney Wanderers coach Markus Babbel has vowed to stop talking about referees and "calm down" despite increasing frustrations at A-League officials. Babbel was cited by Football Federation Australia for the second time in a month for his post-match comments after the Wanderers' A-League loss to Wellington Phoenix. He faces either a fine or suspension from games. After four consecutive losses the pressure is mounting on Babbel, who has vowed to keep his emotions in check to avoid further sanction. "I'm not saying anything anymore about this," he said. "This has happened, we are not happy, of course we are not happy. "I have to calm down a bit more but it's an emotional game. "The boys have to follow me. If you work hard the whole week to prepare for the game, you play the game and give everything and then the decisions are not right and against you then of course you're not happy." Babbel claimed Wanderers were playing against 12 men in the 2-1 loss to Phoenix in round nine, a day after he was reprimanded for blasting match officials after a loss to Melbourne City. In both instances, Babbel was incensed by penalty decisions that went against his side. He said it can be hard to keep a lid on his emotions when he believes the team has played well. "Yeah, but this is part of the job. I'm not saying anything anymore about the referees," he said. "I think I've said enough. Everyone has eyes, talk about it. It's what I expect but I won't say a word anymore." The Wanderers have been on the road for three weeks, but have not won since their 1-0 victory over Sydney FC in round three. They will attempt to get their season back on track against Perth Glory on Saturday. "Of course we are under pressure. If you don't get results you're under pressure, it is normal," Babbel said. "It's up to us to change it. That's what I say, hard work, stay disciplined and stay in the structure and belief, that's the most important thing. "We have a good side, we have a talented side so now it's just about belief that we can get a result on the weekend."
