Clermont manager Corinne Diacre, the first woman to manage a professional French men's team in competitive action, has been rewarded with a contract extension until 2018 at the Ligue 2 side.
Diacre, 41, made history when she took charge at the club in June 2014 after the brief reign and abrupt departure of her predecessor, Helena Costa.
A former captain of France's women's team who was capped 121 times, Diacre guided the men of Clermont to a 12th-placed finish in France's second tier last season.
The club announced that they would be extending her contract, shortly before Tuesday's 2-1 victory over AC Ajaccio that lifted her side to sixth in the table.
