Lille striker Ronny Rodelin signs three-year deal with Caen

Forward Ronny Rodelin has signed for Caen from Ligue 1 rivals Lille.

The Frenchman, who was born on the island of La Reunion, scored 10 goals while on loan last season and was contracted at Lille until the end of the 2016-17 season. But he has signed a three-year contract at Caen and has been given the No. 12 shirt.

Caen sporting director Alain Caveglia told the club's official website: "Ronny was our No. 1 priority for the forward line. It took time to materialise, but we are really happy to have been able to finalise this transfer.

"Ronny had a very good season with us. He's a player who knows the club. He will not need a period of adaptation.''

Rodelin began his career with Rodez in the French fourth division in 2008 before moving to Nantes later that year.

In 2011, he signed for Lille where he scored five times in 78 games before joining Caen on loan last summer.
