Luis Enrique has repeatedly taken off or not started Mbappé since the France captain's decision to leave the club went public in February, with talks ongoing with Real Madrid ahead of a summer move. The manager and player held clear-the-air talks in early March over the reduced playing time, sources told ESPN, though Mbappé has continued to play a key role in the Parisian club's Champions League campaign. They face Barcelona in the quarterfinals. Ahead of Sunday's game against Marseille, Luis Enrique said he still had hope that Mbappé could change his mind and remain at PSG, particularly if his team win a quadruple.
