- A contract offer has been made by Manchester United to the representatives of Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Matheus Cunha, reports TEAMtalk. The Red Devils are said to be keen to sign the 25-year-old to a five-year contract at Old Trafford, and are ready to activate his £63 million release clause if Wolves are happy for the fee to be spread across three or four seasons. Brazil international Cunha scored his 15th league goal of the season in Saturday's 3-0 Premier League win over Leicester City, and has also provided six assists throughout the campaign.
- An offer worth £40m is being lined up by Newcastle United for Bayern Munich defender Kim Min-Jae, according to Football Insider. It is believed that the Magpies want to add proven big-game players with experience in the summer, and there is optimism that a deal for the 28-year-old South Korea international could be possible amid uncertainty over his future at the Allianz Arena. AFC Bournemouth starlet Dean Huijsen, 20, is also being considered as a potential alternative.
- Chelsea are stepping up their effort to sign Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz, CaughtOffside reports. The 19-year-old Turkey international has scored six goals and registered two assists in Serie A this season, but his potential and versatility mean Juve do not want to let him go and would push for a transfer fee of up to €100 million. Their hand may be forced, however, if they do not qualify for next season's UEFA Champions League. Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United also have Yildiz on their radar.
- Internazionale anticipate competition from Liverpool in the race to sign Lille striker Jonathan David this summer, TeamTalk reports. The Serie A side are reportedly "intensifying" their efforts to sign David, having already tabled a concrete offer. Competition is expected to be strong for the Canadian goalscorer, who has scored 16 goals in 29 Ligue 1 matches this season. David, 25, is set to become a free agent in June and has previously been linked with the likes of Barcelona and Marseille.
- Bayer Leverkusen centre-back Piero Hincapié has a €60m release clause in his contract, Sky Germany have reported. While the German club are determined to keep hold of their star defender this summer, a move has not been ruled out. Several enquiries have already been made into Hincapié's availability, who has been a regular under Xabi Alonso for the past two seasons. The 23-year-old is an Ecuador international with 44 caps to his name.
