Van Bree helps rally Bradley to 61-53 win over Delaware

PEORIA, Ill. -- Luuk van Bree had 15 points as Bradley rallied late for a 61-53 win over Delaware on Tuesday night.

Delaware jumped out to an early lead but Bradley battled back to take a 31-27 lead at the break. Bradley led most of the second half but could not break free of the Blue Hens until Nate Kennell drilled a trey with 4:15 left for a 51-47 advantage and the Braves finished the game on a 13-6 run.

Darrell Brown totaled 11 points and Koch Bar added 10 with six rebounds. Donte Thomas had seven points with 10 rebounds and van Bree made 3 of 4 from distance.

Bradley (2-0) made 6 of 14 from long range while limiting Delaware to just 2-of-14 shooting from deep. The Braves were 20 of 60 from the field; Delaware was 19 of 48.

Eric Carter led Delaware (1-1) with 18 points and 12 rebounds.
