Seibring's double-double leads Elon past Kennesaw St.

KENNESAW, Ga. -- Tyler Seibring had 24 points and 12 rebounds, Steven Santa Ana added 21 points and Elon defeated Kennesaw State 76-67 on Tuesday night.

Tyler Hooker led Kennesaw State (2-10) with 18 points but missed all seven of his 3-point tries. Kosta Jankovic scored 17 for the Owls, including 3 for 6 beyond the arc.

Elon (4-8) led for nearly the entire game but never by more than nine points. The Phoenix first went ahead by nine when Seibring hit a 3-pointer for a 69-60 lead near the four-minute mark of the second half. Elon led by at least six points the rest of the way.

Nathan Priddy had five assists for Elon but committed four turnovers. The rest of his team had only five turnovers.

Bryson Lockley grabbed 14 rebounds for the Owls and Hooker had nine rebounds and six assists.
