Robert Morris gives coach Andy Toole contract extension

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- Robert Morris is doing what it can to keep coach Andy Toole around.

The school signed Toole to a contract extension through the 2019-20 season after the 34-year-old led the Colonials to their second NCAA tournament win in school history.

Toole is 110-65 in five seasons with Robert Morris, including a 65-23 mark against Northeast Conference opponents. The Colonials shook off a sluggish start to win the NEC tournament, then beat North Florida in the opening round of the NCAAs. Toole's name popped up for several job openings after the season, but he announced shortly before the Final Four that he would remain with Robert Morris.

Toole says the excitement level around the program is "at an all-time high" and he is already focusing on the 2015-16 season.
