WINTER HAVEN, Fla. (AP) _ Dave Roberts hit a grand slam and Enrique Wilson capped Cleveland's nine-run ninth inning with a three-run homer Thursday as the Indians rallied to beat the Kansas City Royals 11-10.

Wilson's home run off Billy Brewer followed a two-run hit by Jacob Cruz and Roberts' grand slam, both off Ken Ryan. It mirrored Kansas City's 1999 regular season, when the Royals' bullpen blew 30 saves.

Ryan started the ninth inning, but left after six runs, five hits, a walk and an error. Brewer gave up Ruben Sierra's hit off the right-field wall, then struck out Mark Whiten for the second out.

Wilson, a switch-hitter batting right-handed, sent Brewer's first pitch over the left-field fence for his second home run of the spring. Wilson's only two home runs last season came against the Royals.

Ricardo Rincon won despite allowing Mark Quinn's three-run homer in the ninth. Quinn drove in five runs with three hits.

Cruz drove in three runs for Cleveland, while Wilson and Richie Sexson each had three hits.

Mike Sweeney had three of the Royals' 20 hits.

Indians starter Jaret Wright, who had not allowed a run during his first two starts, gave up five in 3 2-3 innings. Three were unearned after Wright dropped a relay throw from Sexson while covering first base on Carlos Beltran's grounder in the first inning.

Wright gave up seven hits and four walks before coming out with the bases loaded in the fourth. Jermaine Dye had a pair of RBI singles off Wright, and Jeff Reboulet walked with the bases loaded.

Kansas City starter Jay Witasick gave up one run in four innings, on an RBI single by David Justice.

Notes: The Royals sent RHP Derek Wallace outright to their Triple-A Omaha team Thursday, leaving 46 players in Kansas City's camp. ... Royals LHP Jose Rosado, who strained his left hamstring while running March 9, will be able to resume throwing in two or three days.
