FORT MYERS, Fla. (AP) _ Bruce Aven homered and doubled to lead the Pittsburgh Pirates to a 5-4 victory over the Boston Red Sox on Sunday. Aven's two-run homer in the fifth inning off Boston starter Ramon Martinez followed a double by Wil Cordero, and put the Pirates ahead 4-3. The Pirates added another run in the sixth on Warren Morris' RBI single. Boston took a 3-0 lead on Nomar Garciaparra's two-run double in the first and John Valentin's RBI double in the third. Pittsburgh starter Todd Ritchie threw five innings, allowing three earned runs. Martinez gave up six hits and four earned runs in five innings.
