FORT MYERS, Fla. (AP) _ Joe Mays had his strongest outing of the spring, allowing one run and six hits in six innings Monday as the Minnesota Twins beat the Baltimore Orioles 6-2. Mays, 1-1 with a 3.05 ERA this spring, struck out two and walked one as the Twins won for the fifth time in six games. Mays, who was 6-11 with a 4.37 ERA last season, appears to have won a spot in the five-man rotation. Matt Lawton homered for Minnesota and Corey Koskie went 2-for-2 with a double, an RBI and a run scored. Butch Huskey went 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Baltimore's Harold Baines went 3-for-4. Starter Jason Johnson gave up five runs and nine hits in four innings, dropping to 0-3.
