MARYVALE, Arizona (Ticker) -- Jeromy Burnitz and Mark Loretta smacked solo home runs as the Milwaukee Brewers banged out 16 hits en route to a 9-2 Cactus League victory over a split squad of Oakland Athletics.

Loretta added an RBI single in the fourth inning and Jeff Jenkins went 3-for-3 with an RBI to extend his spring hitting streak to 10 games.

Milwaukee starter Valerio De Los Santos allowed one run and four hits in two innings before leaving the game with a cracked fingernail and blister on his left middle finger. Four Brewers pitchers combined for six innings of hitless relief.

Rafael Pujols and Frank Menechino singled in Oakland's only runs. Jeremy Giambi and Mark Bellhorn added two hits apiece for the Athletics.

Oakland starter Ron Mahay was tagged for six runs -- four earned -- and eight hits in four innings.
