JUPITER, Fla. (AP) _ Shawn Green hit two solo home runs Tuesday as the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Montreal Expos 4-3 in 10 innings. The Dodgers suffered a scare when first baseman Eric Karros fouled a ball off his left ankle in the seventh inning and was carted off the field. X-rays revealed no fracture, and Karros is expected to be sidelined for just a couple of days with a badly bruised left ankle. Karros has been the team's first baseman since 1992, when he was the NL Rookie of the Year, and has a career average of .273 with 211 homers and 734 RBIs. He hit .304 with 34 homers with 112 RBIs last season. Green homered of Expos starter Jeremy Powell in the second inning and off Felipe Lira in the seventh, giving him five for the spring. ``I could feel my swing starting to come around the last 10 days,'' Green said. ``The first one was on a change-up, the second a fastball.'' In between his two homers, the Expos retired 17 straight hitters, including 12 by Powell, who allowed two hits in five innings. ``Powell pitched very well today,'' Expos manager Felipe Alou said. Michael Barrett was the offensive star for Montreal, hitting a solo homer in the second inning and a game-tying RBI double in the ninth. In the 10th, Jeff Branson singled home Adrian Beltre with the winning run. Beltre had given Los Angeles a 3-2 lead in the eighth when he scored on a bases loaded walk. Mike Fetters pitched two innings and got the win despite giving up the tying run in the ninth. Matt Herges got the save. Anthony Telford was the losing pitcher. Notes: C Charlie O'Brien has agreed to stay behind for extended spring training when the Expos break camp and head for Montreal on Saturday. O'Brien had a cortisone injection in his right foot March 21 and will be out of action indefinitely.
