ATLANTA (AP) _ Andruw Jones hit his team-leading seventh home run of the spring and Terry Mulholland and five relievers combined on a five-hitter as the Atlanta Braves beat the Baltimore Orioles 5-0 on Friday night.

Atlanta's Steve Sisco added a solo homer in the eighth off Chuck McElroy.

A crowd of 31,381 turned out at Turner Field to watch Mulholland, who will replace injured John Smoltz in the starting rotation, go the first four innings. The left-hander allowed three hits, didn't walk a batter and struck out one.

He was followed by Luis Rivera, Kevin McGlinchy, Ismael Villegas, Kerry Ligtenberg and Mike Remlinger, who each pitched a scoreless inning.

Baltimore's other hits were off Rivera and Ligtenberg, who is coming off elbow surgery that forced him to miss all of last season. The right-hander struck out two.

Jones, who also leads the Braves with 13 RBIs, raised his spring average to .400 (24-for-60) with his solo homer in the fourth off Baltimore starter Sidney Ponson. The right-hander gave up three runs and five hits in five innings.

The Braves scored a run in the first inning off Ponson on an RBI infield single by Andres Galarraga and added a run-scoring double by Chipper Jones in the third.

Atlanta's fourth run came in the seventh off Tim Worrell, who gave up a leadoff double to Walt Weiss. Pinch-runner Rafael Furcal, 19, who found out he made the team just before the game, tagged up and went to third on a fly to center and scored on Quilvio Veras' groundout.
