MILWAUKEE -- Pittsburgh Pirates center fielder Andrew McCutchen missed Saturday's 6-0 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers a day after taking himself out of a game because of left knee soreness. The 2013 National League MVP's status is considered day-to-day. He departed following his at-bat in the top of the ninth of a 6-2 win Friday night against the Brewers, the Pirates' first victory of the year. Starling Marte moved from left to center to replace McCutchen, with Andrew Lambo getting the start in left. McCutchen is hitting .125 with a home run and two RBIs over the season's first four games.
