Baltimore Orioles get OF Mishael Deson to complete trade with Colorado Rockies

The Orioles on Friday received outfield prospect Mishael Deson from the Rockies to complete the trade that sent right-handed pitcher Mychal Givens to Colorado last month, Baltimore announced.

Deson, 18, was originally signed by the Rockies on July 7, 2018, as an international free agent out of La Romana, Dominican Republic. He appeared in 61 games for Rockies affiliates in 2019. Deson has been added to the Orioles player pool.

In the August deal, Baltimore also received infielders Tyler Nevin and Terrin Vavra.

Also Friday, Colorado completed another deal -- the Kevin Pillar trade with Boston from last month -- by sending minor league right-handed pitcher Jacob Wallace, 22, to the Red Sox.
