MIAMI (AP) -- The Chicago Bulls got a rare road win, while Miami is still getting used to its new home. Chris Anstey's last-second tip-in sent the game into overtime and Toni Kukoc scored seven of his 23 points in the extra session to give the Bulls their second road win of the season, 92-85 over the Miami Heat. "They're not a CBA team, but they're not a team that should come in here and beat us," said Miami's Dan Majerle, who shot 2-of-15 from the field, including 1-of-11 from 3-point range. The Heat slipped to 2-3 in the new AmericanAirlines Arena. Elton Brand had 24 points and 13 rebounds for Chicago but missed three crucial free throws in the final 1:14 of regulation. "I almost won the game with one play and almost lost it with the next, missing those free throws," Brand said. "To beat a team like Miami on their home court is a nice win, a great accomplishment." Chris Carr added 14 points for the Bulls, who improved to 2-16 away from the United Center, having also beaten Washington 110-103 Jan. 7. Alonzo Mourning and Anthony Carter scored 20 points apiece for Miami. The Heat are 9-9 in their last 18 games after a 15-4 start. "It was a bad loss," coach Pat Riley said. "At some point in time there is going to have to be a change in approach or a change in personnel. We are in a bad spell and it could be a number of things." In overtime, Kukoc hit a huge 3-pointer that bounced high off the rim and back in to give the Bulls an 85-83 lead with 2:41 left. "It's a nice feeling when you're 10 points down in the fourth quarter and you find enough poise to get yourself together and win the game," Kukoc said. "I think we played good defense for 53 minutes and if we can continue to play defense like that, we can win games." Mourning hit two free throws for Miami and Ron Artest responded with two for the Bulls with 1:32 to play. Jamal Mashburn then missed a 3-pointer and P.J. Brown's follow rolled in and out. Anstey was fouled on the rebound and made one foul shot to make it 88-85 with 31.9 left. Majerle missed a 3 with 21 seconds left. Kukoc made two free throws and a layup at the buzzer to snap the Bulls' three-game losing streak. Anstey's tip-in tied the game at 80 with seven-tenths of a second left in regulation. Mourning missed a 25-footer at the buzzer. "Our team is still learning how to win," Bulls coach Tim Floyd said. "We've been in this situation the past three games where we've been down and made a run, but this time we got over the top." Following a three-point play by Brand, Kukoc hit a short jumper to cap a 7-0 Bulls' run to cut Miami's lead to 78-76 with 2:28 left. Voshon Lenard and Carter teamed up for a steal and fast-break layup by Carter to give Miami an 80-76 lead with 1:48 left. Carter, who was fouled on the play, missed the free throw. Brand hit a turnaround jumper in the lane but missed the ensuing free throw as Chicago trailed 80-78 with 1:14 left. "We turned the ball over at the wrong time," said Mashburn, who had 10 points, nine rebounds, eight assists and five steals. "That's what we did with Vancouver and New Jersey at home. I feel comfortable on any basketball courts, it's all mental." Game notesHeat guard Tim Hardaway, who missed his 26th straight game with a jammed right knee, could play Friday night against Atlanta. Miami is 16-10 without Hardaway. ... Bulls guard Randy Brown played for the first time after missing five games with a sore left knee. ... Chicago had one assist in the first quarter and did not go to the foul line. ... Chicago owns the distinction of scoring the fewest points at half of any Heat opponent this season. The Bulls trailed 38-35 Tuesday and in their first meeting with Miami this season on Nov. 5 they trailed 55-32. | ALSO SEE NBA Scoreboard Chicago Clubhouse Miami Clubhouse RECAPS Chicago 92 Miami 85
