COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) _ Chris Mullin was 3-of-4 from beyond the 3-point line and 5-of-8 from the field overall as he scored 13 points to lead the Indiana Pacers to a 97-84 exhibition victory over the Chicago Bulls on Saturday night. The Bulls (2-5) led 25-22 at the end of the first quarter and 47-46 at halftime, but a 9-2 run by the Pacers to start the second half put them up for good. A 3-pointer by Sam Perkins put Indiana (6-1) up 69-60 at the end of the third quarter. The Pacers then went on an 8-0 run early in the fourth to stretch the lead to 15 points. Al Harrington of the Pacers was 5-of-7 from the field and had 12 points, 10 in the first half when Mullin had eight. Travis Best added 10 points and four assists for Indiana. Perkins was 3-of-4 from behind the 3-point line and also grabbed five rebounds. He finished with 11 points, two steals and a blocked shot. Elton Brand, the NBA's overall No. 1 draft pick, was 7-of-14 from the field and had 16 points for the Bulls. He also had six turnovers. Fred Hoiberg had 13 points and Randy Brown added nine for the Bulls, but also had six turnovers. The Bulls, who have lost five straight preseason games, finished with 24 turnovers.
