MEXICO CITY (AP) _ Antawn Jamison scored 27 points and the Golden State Warriors beat the New Jersey Nets 117-91 Sunday night in an NBA exhibition game. John Starks added 15 points for Golden State, while John Morton, who spent the last six seasons playing in Spain, had 13 points in 20 minutes. Stephon Marbury had 25 points and 11 assists for the Nets, while Jamie Feick had 16 rebounds. New Jersey missed all 11 of its shots from 3-point range, while the Warriors went 4-for-6. The Nets committed 23 turnovers, seven more than Golden State. It was the biggest offensive performance of the preseason for Golden State (3-4). The Nets (4-2) had won three straight exhibition games. Jamison scored seven straight points as the first quarter closed, starting with two short hook shots that broke a 21-21 tie. Wearing a Phantom-of-the-Opera-type white mask to protect a nose broken before the start of training camp, Jamison played 23 minutes. Before the game, the teams and the NBA announced a donation of $30,000 to the Red Cross to aid victims of Mexico's recent mudslides and floods.
