Is the Los Angeles Lakers finishing 0-6 in the preseason a red flag?

The Lakers had the worst record of any team in the exhibition season, losing their six games by an average of 15 points per game. None of those losses will count when the Lakers open the regular season Tuesday against the Golden State Warriors, but it's worth pondering the predictive power of preseason performance to see whether their struggles reflect concerns about the age and depth of a rebuilt Lakers roster.
