PORTLAND, Ore. -- The Portland Trail Blazers took center Arvydas Sabonis off the injury list Monday, activating him for their three-game road trip.

Team spokeswoman Sue Carpenter said Sabonis would be in uniform Monday night but that she was unsure if he would play against the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City.

Sabonis sprained his right foot when he fell while jumping for a pass during a home loss to the Detroit Pistons on March 22. He was placed on the injured list two days later.

He was replaced on the injury list by Antonio Harvey, who has inflammation of the right knee, Carpenter said.

The Blazers initially thought they would rest Sabonis, 35, until the playoffs. But after losing to Houston and Vancouver -- the bottom two teams in the Midwest Division -- on consecutive nights last week, coach Mike Dunleavy said he would take him on the road trip.
