Pistons' Reggie Jackson to be evaluated in 6-8 weeks

Detroit Pistons guard Reggie Jackson has a Grade 3 sprain in his right ankle and will be re-evaluated in six to eight weeks, according to the team.

Jackson was helped off the court after injuring his ankle midway through the third quarter Tuesday night vs. the Pacers. He did not return.

The 27-year-old is averaging 14.6 points and 5.5 assists per game.

Jackson was limited to 52 games last season, largely due to a knee injury.

The Pistons play Thursday night at Orlando and will likely start Ish Smith in place of Jackson.
