ATHENS, Ga. (AP) -- Tayshaun Prince didn't do much -- until it counted.

The Kentucky sophomore scored six of his 14 points over the final 3:35 Wednesday night and the Wildcats (No. 18 ESPN/USA Today, No. 16 AP) continued their domination of Georgia with a 75-69 victory.

It was the Wildcats' 13th straight win over the Bulldogs, who last beat Kentucky on Jan. 8, 1994, 94-90 in overtime.

Kentucky (14-5, 5-1 Southeastern Conference) won its fourth straight overall and 10th in 11 games.

"In the end, he stepped it up," Kentucky coach Tubby Smith said of Prince.

"He was really concentrating on defense most of the game. I guess that's what it was," Smith said, tongue-in cheek, of his 6-foot-9 forward, who had only four points at halftime on 2-of-7 shooting. He wound up 6-of-15, but was 2-for-2 down the stretch.

Prince didn't mind Smith's humor.

"With the game on the line, I'm willing to take the ball to the basket," he said.

Saul Smith's 3-pointer 3:42 into the second half gave Kentucky a 52-43 lead, but Georgia (9-10, 2-5) tied it 64-64 with 3:47 to play on a basket by Anthony Evans.

"I thought we played well," Georgia coach Jim Harrick said. "We stopped their transition game in the second half. We had a couple of key missed free throws and turnovers that hurt us and they hit every big shot and capitalized all of their possessions late in the game."

Prince and Jamaal Magloire, who led Kentucky with 19 points, got the big buckets late, sparking an 11-5 run over the rest of the game after Georgia had tied it.

Prince put the Wildcats ahead to stay at 66-64 with a basket with 3:35 left and Magloire made it 68-64 55 seconds later.

Georgia got within two points twice more, but Prince's basket with 1:40 left made it 70-66, and Magloire's basket with 42 seconds to play made it 73.69.

Shon Coleman led Georgia with a career-high 26 points, while D.A. Layne added 17 and Evans had 12.

Freshman Keith Bogans, who had 14 points, scored Kentucky's last eight points of the first half to give the Wildcats a 43-37 lead.

Smith added 10 points for Kentucky.
