The outside shooting of Darius Lane, Shaheen Holloway, and Rimas Kaukenas helped The Hall surprise the Big East. The Pirates lack a true inside presence, but if they're trading twos for threes, they could be trouble for opponents. ANIMATE THIS PLAY DIAGRAM WITH SHOCKWAVE (A) Senior guard Shaheen Holloway (10) is the Pirates' best three-point shooter, and he's also the team leader in assists. (B) Holloway swings the ball around the perimeter to Pirate leading scorer Darius Lane (30). Lane can look to shoot, pass inside, or reset. (C) Lane (30) gets a screen on the perimeter from center Samuel Dalembert (1), opening up a possible shot opportunity. (D) If Lane doesn't have a shot, he penetrates into the paint and kicks it out to Holloway (10) on the perimeter. If Holloway gets hot, the Pirates might ambush some people in the tournament.
