| CHICAGO -- DePaul sophomore guard Rashon Burno will be
sidelined for three to five weeks with a Grade 2 sprain of the
medial collateral ligament in his right knee.
The 5-foot-7 Burno suffered the injury while attempting to take a
charge early in the second half of Tuesday's game with St.
John's. He was helped off the court and did not return.
Burno is currently leading the 19th-ranked Blue Demons with 4.1
assists per game while adding 5.3 points per contest. DePaul
will likely turn to senior Kerry Harfield to fill the void in
Burno's absence.
Harfield is averaging 6.3 points and 3.0 assists in 20 minutes
per game.
Ironically, the announcement of Burno's injury came on the same
day the Blue Demons welcomed back sophomore forward-center Lance
Williams.
The 6-9, 250-pound Williams has been sidelined since the start
of preseason with a stress fracture in his foot. He began
practicing Wednesday but is unlikely to play when DePaul visits No.
