DURHAM, N.H. (AP) _ Curtis Keaton ran three yards with 20 seconds left for his third touchdown to give James Madison a 35-28 victory over New Hampshire on Saturday. James Madison (2-1, 2-0 Atlantic 10) took over with 1:58 left after New Hampshire (1-2, 1-2) tied the game on Ryan Day's 1-yard run. Day passed for 53 yards in the 78-yard drive. Charles Berry got James Madison started with an 18-yard run, then passed 25 yards to Mike Ponds. Robert Carson's 16-yard run set up Keaton's winning rush. Keaton ran for 161 yards on 32 carries and scored James Madison's first two touchdowns on a 6-yard run and a 20-yard pass from Berry for a 17-7 lead. After Mike Glover kicked his second field goal for a 20-7 lead, New Hampshire pulled ahead 21-20 on Day's 22-yard pass to Kamau Peterson and Dan Curran's 10-yard run for his second touchdown. After a 23-yard Berry pass, Carson covered the last 20 yards on two carries and Berry passed to Ernest Payton for a 2-point conversion and a 28-21 lead with 8 minutes left. Day's run tied the score at 28 with 2:07 left. Berry threw for 224 yards on 15 of 34 while Day hit 20 of 35 for 268 yards. Curran ran for 121 yards on 29 carries.
