DOVER, Del. (AP) _ Rashaan Matthews threw for two touchdowns and Maurice Foster rushed for 82 yards and a score to lead Delaware State over Norfolk State 26-6 in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference matchup on Saturday. The victory snapped a 19-game losing streak for the Hornets, who haven't won since beating Bethune-Cookman 35-14 on Oct. 4, 1997. After Delaware State recovered a Norfolk State fumble on the first play from scrimmage, Foster scored on a 20-yard run to cap a nine-play 53-yard drive to give the Hornets a 7-0 lead with 11:24 left in the first quarter. The Hornets increased the lead to 13-0 when Matthews found Tommie Mims for a 15-yard scoring play with 6:23 left in the quarter. Matthews also connected with Albert Horsey on a seven-yard touchdown pass with 11:09 left in the game for the final tally. Norfolk State scored its only touchdown on a 17-yard pass from Ted Harrison to Delvin Peeks with 4:40 left in the second quarter.
