NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. (AP) _ LeVar Stockton threw for one touchdown and ran for another as Iona routed Sacred Heart 24-0 Saturday.

Stockton, who completed 11 of 23 passes for 215 yards, capped a nine-play, 84-yard drive with a four-yard run at 9:26 of the first quarter to put the Gaels (2-1) ahead.

He later hit John Carela with a 31-yard TD pass at 1:10 of the third quarter to increase the lead to 14-0.

Ken Christiansen's 30-yard field goal at 7:37 of the fourth made it 17-0, and Rob Terry closed out the scoring against the Pioneers (1-2) on a 46-yard run with 16 seconds to play.
