CARROLLTON, Ga. (AP) _ West Georgia blocked a Morehead State field goal attempt with no time left in regulation, and Harold Farmer scored on a 4-yard jaunt in overtime Saturday to give the Braves a 34-28 victory. Led by quarterback David Dinkins, who scored on runs of 1 yard, 69 yards and 10 yards, the Division I-AA Eagles (3-1) held a 21-7 lead at halftime. However, West Georgia (3-2) forced two turnovers and blocked two kicks in the second half to send the game into overtime. Elbert Gurley sacked Dinkins, causing a fumble that Gurley returned 17 yards to the Eagles' 2-yard line. Nick Price ran it over for a touchdown with 12:47 left in the third quarter. On the next Morehead State drive, Edward Roberts intercepted a Dinkins pass on the West Georgia 41. Four plays later, Price turned a screen pass from Jeremy Clements into a 62-yard touchdown. Dinkins scored on a 43-yard scramble just over over a minute into the fourth quarter, but West Georgia tied it at 28-28 with a 32-yard touchdown pass from Clements to Roscoe Pounds.
