HONOLULU (Ticker) -- Dan Robinson threw for 344 yards and two touchdowns on 29-of-49 attempts as Hawaii recorded its fourth straight win, a 33-3 rout over Texas El Paso in a Western Athletic Conference match-up. Robinson surpassed the 300-yard mark for the third time this season and is fifth on the Rainbow Warriors passing list with 3,695 yards. Hawaii (4-1, 2-0 WAC) took a 13-3 halftime lead when Robinson took over. He fired a 48-yard scoring pass to Channon Harris in the third quarter and a 24-yard strike to Dwight Carter early in the fourth for a 24-point cushion. Backup quarterback Mike Harrison completed the scoring on a 14-yard touchdown run with 5 1/2 minutes left for Hawaii, which improved to 2-0 in the WAC for the first time since 1992. Carter finished with eight catches for 152 yards while Harris had six receptions for 111 yards. Jay Stuckey could not get things going for UTEP (2-3, 0-1) as he completed just 6-of-13 passes for 60 yards and three interceptions. The Miners were outgained 532-173, including 372-89 on passing yards. Paul Smith led the rushing attack with 67 yards on 16 carries as UTEP played the first of three games in four weeks on the road.
