PHILADELPHIA (AP) _ Brian Small rushed for 102 yards and a 13-yard touchdown, while John Travers threw two scoring passes as La Salle held Canisius to 136 yards in total offense in the Explorers' 19-6 win on Saturday.

La Salle (3-2) scored all its points in the first half, including touchdown catches by John Salamone from two yards out in the first quarter and a 14-yard catch by Adam Petty with 14 seconds left in the first half.

Canisius (1-4) managed just nine first downs for the game to La Salle's 21, and the Golden Griffins managed to complete just two of 22 pass attempts for 49 yards.

Canisius finally scored with 7:43 left in the third quarter after Kyle Murphy intercepted a La Salle pass and returned it 41 yards for a touchdown.

Travers finished the day 20-of-27 passing for 181 yards.
