WEST HAVEN, Conn. (AP) _ Jason Barnett threw for five touchdowns as New Haven defeated Morehead State, 52-22, Saturday.

Barnett was 16 of 29 for 289 yards. He threw threee touchdown passes to Elvert Eden and also targeted Jamie Allen, Wayne Kruglik for scoring passes.

Eden had six receptions for 145 yards.

Morehead State (3-2) trailed 32-3 at the half. Nick Woolridge had two fourth-quarter touchdowns for the Eagles. He scored on a 22-yard pass from David Dinkins and also ran for a five-yard touchdown.

New Haven's Corey Jones rushed 19 times for 82 yards. He scored twice in the second quarter on runs of 11 and 12 yards, respectively, as New Haven improved to 4-2.
