PHILADELPHIA (AP) _ Elliot Hulse ran for two touchdowns in the second half to help St. John's come from behind and beat La Salle 21-10 on Saturday. The Red Storm, which entered the game as the top defensive team in the nation in Division I-AA, held the Explorers to 137 total yards, including just 10 yards rushing. La Salle (3-4) got its only touchdown on Brett Rothenburger's 53-yard punt return late in the first quarter. Pete Turchi added a 21-yard field goal early in the second quarter for a 10-0 lead. La Salle never scored again. St. John's (4-3) cut the lead to 10-7 late in the third quarter on a 3-yard run by Hulse. James Morton hit Steve Kalberer for an 8-yard TD pass early in the fourth. After La Salle failed on a fourth-and-long attempt, the Red Storm finished off the scoring with 11 seconds remaining on a 1-yard TD run by Hulse.
