ORONO, Maine (AP) _ Brian Scott threw for two touchdowns and Brent Naccara ran for another as Maine defeated eighth-ranked James Madison 26-20 in the Atlantic 10 on Saturday. Scott's 20-yard touchdown pass to Dwayne Wilmot late in the third quarter capped a 95-yard drive and put Maine (3-6, 2-4) ahead 26-7. The score was set up by a 55-yard run from Marquisse Silva. Scott's other touchdown came on a 33-yard pass to Phil McGeoghan in the second quarter following McGeoghan catches of 30 and 21 yards earlier in the drive. Naccara's 1-yard touchdown run capped a drive that started at midfield after a James Madison (7-2, 6-1) fumble, both scores coming in the second quarter. Todd Jagoutz kicked two 25-yard field goals in the third quarter for Maine. Both drives started inside James Madison territory after interceptions by Peter LeBlanc and Steve Shepard. James Madison added two touchdowns in the fourth on a Marc Bacote catch of 13 yards and a Curtis Keaton 2-yard run. Keaton also had a 32-yard touchdown run in the first quarter and finished the game with 196 yards on the ground, just missing his fourth consecutive 200-yard game. James Madison, at 6-1 is in contention for the Atlantic 10 title with Massachusetts at 5-1. Massachusetts played a nonconference opponent Saturday.
