TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) _ JaJuan Seider completed 30 of 45 passes for 295 yards and ran for 115 yards on 17 carries to lead Florida A&M to a 65-18 rout of Division I-AA Southern Saturday night.

Seider accounted for five touchdowns, two on the ground and three through the air.

The Rattlers (7-2) opened the game with a seven-play, 75-yard scoring drive and never looked back, handing the Jaguars (8-1) their first loss.

Florida A&M's 35 first-quarter points tied the school record for most points in a quarter.

In the first six minutes of the game, the Rattlers scored 21 points, more than any team has scored on Southern this season.

FAMU's first drive ended with a 5-yard scoring pass from Seider to Cainon Lamb.

On the ensuing kickoff, Marlon Henry fumbled and FAMU's Neal Colzie picked it up and ran 9 yards for a touchdown.

Ken Williams added 105 yards on 13 carries for the Rattlers.
